Key findings from Asia Pacific: The 2nd Global Alternative Finance Market Benchmarking Report

The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School is delighted to invite you to a presentation of findings from Asia Pacific region from the 2nd Global Alternative Finance Market Benchmarking Report.
Led by our regional researchers, this session will present Asia Pacific findings from this landmark global report, which documents and analyses the development of Digital Lending and Digital Capital Raising verticals. The report gathered primary data from firms in over 175 countries and accounts for 1,801 firm-level observations in 2019 and 1,660 in 2020. Within the Asia Pacific region, the report collected 359 firm-level observations in 2019 and 342 in 2020, from firms in more than 35 markets.
By collecting firm-level data for both years, this research aims to review the impact of significant changes in the industry since the publication of the 1st Global Alternative Finance Benchmarking Report, provide novel insights into the state of the industry and the challenges faced both prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The results will provide timely insight for decision makers in industry, policymakers, regulators, governments and the development community.
Immediately following the presentation of findings, there will be a brief Q&A session with the research team who will be available to answer questions on the insights presented.
