Jason Roberts of Augen Software Group, and Craig Kirk from Delta Insurance, recently attended the ANZIIF InsurTech Conference; which brought together tech and insurance industry representatives to engage in finding unique and innovate ways to work together.

ANZIIF hosted an InsurTech conference in Sydney on 2nd and 3rd of May 2018, in conjunction with partners FintechNZ and InsurTech Australia.
The conference was well attended with over 300 delegates from all around Asia Pacific, including around 15 attendees from New Zealand, which included FinTechNZ members Ando, Augen Software, Delta, InsuredHQ and Vallum.
The event was very well run and included a host of fascinating presentations across a wide range of topics. One highlight was a presentation by New Zealand company FaceMe who provided an overview of innovative developments within their omni-channel digital workforce offering.
Jason Roberts of Augen Software Group did a great job providing a New Zealand perspective on a Panel Discussion “Keeping up with InsurTech” which was focussed on InsurTech trends.
FinTechNZ exhibited at the “InsurTech Alley”, engaging with many of the delegates who were clearly interested in what’s happening in the NZ InsurTech space. InsuredHQ also exhibited in the sponsors’ area and garnered high levels of interest from delegates.
While attending the event, we connected with colleagues at Insurtech Australia. Some excellent action points were made during discussions around how we can better collaborate with our Trans-Tasman cousins, and with our other partners in the Global InsurTech Alliance.
Overall it was an excellent event – and we would like to congratulate our partners ANZIIF for a job well done.
